I pride myself foremost on my versatility as a musician. Though I specialise in playing rock, pop, R&B and metal, I am able to cater for all genres.

I am proficient in a variety of playing styles and techniques (fingerstyle, slapping, tapping etc.), am a strong improviser and reader, and hold Grade 8 awards in both guitar and bass.

I am available to book for gigs/tours, studio sessions, and can also record remotely from my home studio, with all tracks edited and mixed to a 'production ready' standard.

And with a vast array of effects, for both live and recorded performances, no guitar or bass sound is unattainable.

Please find some examples of my technical ability as a player below and on the portfolio page, and feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

Having worked with a Grammy Award Winning producer (Jim Lowe) and an array of talented musicians throughout my career, I find working with Michael to be one of the easiest and most enjoyable experiences I’ve ever encountered. An extremely talented and versatile musician and personality that contributes so much more to any project than just the sum of his parts. Never afraid to try something different or take a risk, I find working with Michael to be an absolute pleasure and I look forward to continuing that relationship throughout our careers over many, many projects.

It has been an absolute delight to work with Michael. He’s not only an insanely good guitarist but so creative and works efficiently to an amazing standard. So happy to have him on this project and I hope to work on many more with him in the future.
— Katie Wills (Ceiti/Artax)
There are few people I’ve met with a work ethic as strong as Micheal’s. He has an open-mindedness and enthusiasm for music of all kinds and the chops to play and produce basically all of it too.
— Andrew Gordon (Late Fees)
Michael really stands out from the crowd as he brings something a little more unique with his playing. He notices any little changes made to songs and makes sure his playing fits in with them, playing as a band rather than just blindly playing his parts. He’s a team-player, punctual and always well prepared. As a guy, he’s 100% genuine, open and good company. He rides through the rough and the smooth, and is a total professional and an all round good lad.
